PepsiCo saw an opportunity for new, innovative fountain beverage options for kids within the QSR space, but were challenged by limited time and budget. We crafted a bespoke methodology for the PepsiCo team: Jam Sessions. As a collaborative group, we spent two full afternoons playing with and rotating around ‘creation stations’ with kids and parents – ideating using a variety of stimuli in and out of the beverage category.
Coming out of the sessions, we armed Pepsi with the tools needed for future innovation around QSR beverages for kids: powerful insights, refined pre-existing fountain concepts, and the do’s and don’ts when it comes to kids’ flavor preferences.
